Who we are and what we do!!

North Somerset Decorative and Fine Arts Society (NSDFAS) is a local society for those interested in any aspect of the decorative and fine arts such as architecture, painting, ceramics, textiles, furniture, decoration, music etc. It is a member society of NADFAS, the National Association for such societies which provides access to world class lecturers. Our National headquarters are in London and the South West Area office is in Exeter.

 The NSDFAS membership fee covers attendance at nine lectures each year and for additional sums, members make outings to gardens and houses of special interest and attend special study days on subjects such as porcelain and silver. Emphasis is put on meeting others with similar interests.

We belong to a national association of such societies. Our members come from all over North Somerset, and quite a few travel from further afield!!
